Terms of Service — Rolecall

By using Rolecall (the "Service"), whether directly or through Meta's Muse, you agree to these terms.

What the Service does

Rolecall searches the live, signature-verified product-design job board at rolecalljobs.com -- design, design engineering, UX research, and product management roles pulled straight from each company's own hiring system. It's a search tool over that board.

What the Service is not

  • Not an application tool. Rolecall never submits an application on your behalf. A result's link is the employer's own posting -- applying always happens there.

  • Not a job aggregator. Every listing comes directly from the employer's own hiring system, re-verified by Rolecall's own pipeline -- nothing is scraped or pulled from other job boards.

  • Not a guarantee a listing is still open. Each result carries its own freshness date, not a live-this-second check -- a listing can be filled or delisted between verification and your click, the same as any job board.

  • Not the same product as Rolecall Plus in the iPhone app. The paid Plus tier in Rolecall's own app (saved searches, alerts, seniority filters) is a separate product with no equivalent here -- this Service is free, in full, with no paid tier.

Your account

There isn't one. Every tool in this Service works with no sign-in, no token, and no account of any kind -- nothing here to create, secure, or lose access to.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service.

  • Use automated means to extract data from the Service beyond normal use through Muse or the Service's own interface.

  • Represent a search result as a live, binding offer of employment -- it's a pointer to the employer's own posting, nothing more.

Fees

The Service is free, with no paid tier. If that ever changes, we'll clearly disclose pricing before any charge, and any billing will happen through Ava Research LLC's own site, never through Meta.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service runs on scale-to-zero infrastructure, so the first call after a period of inactivity may take longer to respond. We may perform maintenance, and rarely, the Service may be unavailable without advance notice. The underlying board itself is produced by Rolecall's own pipeline, outside Ava Research's control.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time -- there's no account to delete and nothing stored to remove.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ava Research LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including a listing that turns out to be filled, delisted, or inaccurate by the time you view or apply to it. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
