How it works

01

Tell Muse what you bought

02

We check official U.S. recalls every day

03

Ask Muse what needs your attention

Try asking

You ask Muse: “Has the space heater I’m looking at been recalled?”

Muse replies with any matching CPSC recalls: the hazard, the remedy, and a link to the official notice.

You ask Muse: “I just bought a KitchenAid stand mixer from Target. I can return it until October 28. Keep an eye on it.”

Muse replies that it’s on your list and checked against recalls every day. In the last 7 days before October 28, a return-window reminder shows up in your alerts.

You ask Muse: “Anything I need to deal with?”

Muse replies with your alerts, most important first. For example: “Your KitchenAid mixer’s return window closes in 2 days.”

What it uses

  • A sign-in ID, only if you track items (searching recalls needs no account). Sign-in is a one-time code sent to your email — no password to set or remember, and nothing asked for but your email. Recall Tracker itself never stores your email address.

  • The product details you choose to track: name, brand and purchase date, plus optionally model, category, retailer, and return-window and warranty dates.

  • Official U.S. recall data from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Nothing else: no prices, payment details, location, contacts, photos or health information.

What it won’t do

  • It never buys, returns or pays for anything.

  • It gives no legal or safety advice.

  • It shares nothing with advertisers.
